Artist's Description

Hooves- This photograph by Lisa Phillips. Horse hooves waiting and standing in the barn. The horse (Equus ferus caballus) is one of two extant subspecies of Equus ferus, or the wild horse. It is an odd-toed ungulate mammal belonging to the taxonomic family Equidae. The horse has evolved over the past 45 to 55 million years from a small multi-toed creature into the large, single-toed animal of today. I love the positioning of just two legs.

About Lisa Phillips

Lisa Phillips

Thank you for visiting Lisa Phillips Fine Art. At age three, my grandparents gave me my first camera. It opened up the world to me. The natural realm fascinated me then and still does. Today, I focus on a wide variety of subjects.
